Roblox cookie safety for sellers
Connecting a Roblox account to Limblox means pasting a session cookie from that account. This guide covers what that credential does, what Limblox never asks for, and how you end the access.
Connecting an account safely
Sign in to the Roblox account that holds the funds
Use the account itself. Do not paste a session from an account you share with someone else.
Copy the session cookie from that signed-in browser
The seller flow shows where to find it and what it looks like in your browser.
Paste it into Limblox and review the access it grants
Your seller tools show the access the stored credential currently has, so read that screen before you continue.
Turn on Auto 2FA for that account
Next: Set up Auto 2FA. After that, check your synced inventory and payout access where needed, then publish a listing. Selling is off until Auto 2FA is on and a listing is published.
Limblox never asks for your Roblox password
Ending the access
Two separate actions end Limblox's use of a session, and they cover different sides of it. The questions below spell out what each one does.
A session can also stop working without any action from you, because Roblox owns session validity. The expiry question below covers what your seller tools report when that happens.
Common questions
Why does Limblox need my Roblox cookie?
The cookie is what proves the account is yours and what lets Limblox act on it when an order needs fulfilling. Without it there is nothing for Limblox to sell from.
Do you need my Roblox password?
No. Limblox never asks for your Roblox password. A session cookie is not your password, but it does authorize account actions, so treat it like one.
Is a session cookie safe to hand over?
A Roblox session cookie is a sensitive credential. Limblox never sends the stored value back to your browser, and your seller tools show the access it currently has.
How do I take the access back?
Remove the account in Limblox, and log out of all Roblox sessions to end its session cookie.
Will the cookie expire?
Roblox controls session validity and can invalidate a cookie at any time. Your seller tools show when the credential needs replacing.
